• Steve and Vicky from The Undateables on their wedding day

The Undateables 2016: Episode 5 Roundup (in which there are wedding bells for some familiar faces)

After another emotional series following the journeys of disabled people looking for love, The Undateables ends with three remarkable love stories which sent the Twittersphere into meltdown.

IT'S WEDDING BELLS FOR MATTHEW & JESSICA!

When we first met artist's model Matthew in series four, his lifelong stammer threatened to overwhelm his chances of finding the right woman.

But everything fell into place when he met business coach Jessica, and over the following twelve months, the bond between the pair eclipsed that which first marked Jess out as Matthew's dream woman - her 16-inch shoulder-to-shoulder measurement.

We caught up with the lovebirds on their one-year anniversary, an event which saw Matthew fall to one knee on London's South Bank, and Jessica agree to become his wife.

"IT'S A GOOD FEELING AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THAT IN THEIR LIVES."

Matthew, describing what it's like to wake up next to his dream woman, Jessica, every day.

STEVE AND VICKY SAY "WE DO!"

"Love is the most important thing to have in your life," said Steve, when we first met him in his quest to find love. Despite suffering extreme low confidence due to his Crouzon syndrome, The One wasn't far behind, and as we start our catch up with Steve he's grappling with nerves of a new kind.

"It's a scary thing," he said, as he contemplated being centre of attention with an audience of 150 wedding guests for his marriage to Vicky.

Nerves aside, the lead up to the big day was an emotional one for Steve and his family. Three of his siblings tragically died of the condition which causes Steve's facial disfigurement - the same one his mother also has. She advised Steve to let the wedding party fade into the background and concentrate on marrying the woman he loves.

With the vows exchanged, there was just one more hurdle to overcome - the first dance. But Steve and Vicky had a surprise in store for their guests, pausing their traditional slow dance to break into a routine of Taylor Swift's Shake It Off, a track whose message of letting go of negative comments and experiences has personal resonance with Steve.

Congratulations Steve and Vicky!

DANIEL OVERCOMES A BROKEN HEART TO FIND NEW LOVE

He may be a while off walking down the aisle, but Daniel, who has autism, looks to be one step closer to lasting love thanks to his mum. After his last romance ended in heartbreak, she decided to take matters into her own hands, and organised a speed dating event for Brightoners with learning disabilities.

It was here that he met Amber, whose speech and language difficulties brought out Daniel's protective side. "Take your time, Amber, take your time," he advised, when his date struggled to communicate - words which she put to good use on their first date while persevering through 45 attempts to complete a hole of crazy golf.

The pair are now seeing one another three times a week, and Daniel's mum is keeping an eye out for hats.
