Sparkle on your first date

You are in luck if your first date happens to be on or near Guy Fawkes night. What better way to break/melt the ice?

One of our member’s did this last year. Paul wanted to be himself but it’s difficult trying to be witty and interesting when ‘first date nerves’ get in the way. He decided to take advantage of the time of year and took his new date to his local firework display. Watching the fabulous display made chatting and laughing with his new date as natural as being with his good friends.

Yes, we could put in many puns here: ‘Date went with a bang’; ‘Dating isn’t rocket science’; ‘Just a guy in the company of a cracker’…yeah, we’ll stop here. Paul however, thinks ‘Flame fuelled his fire’. He’s now been in a relationship for a year and he and his partner are going to Iceland in February next year to see the northern lights.
